2020 ACTA Conference – Call for papers and Early Bird registration
This year the ACTA Conference will be held in Brisbane from 30 September -2 October 2020 . The call for papers and early bird registration to attend the conference is now out. We know you all do amazing work in your own spheres and are sure that our members have pedagogy that could be showcased. To put forward a paper for presentation click here. Year 11 Examination Materials available for download
Members are now able to access Year 11 Written and Practical Examination materials. You need to make sure you are logged in as a member at the bottom of this page and then click this link.
ATAR Mock examination available for download
The written and practical exams are now available for members to download and use. You need to make sure you are logged in as a member and then click the link.
WATESOL is about to tender for writers for the Year 11 and 12 2020 mock examination papers, which will be available for members later Term 2, 2020.
Good Answers Guide
The new Good Answers Guide will be ready to be purchased in late April 2020. It will contain sample answers for the synthesis and all extended writing questions from the 2019 EAL/D ATAR examination. Previous guides can be purchased here and the new one will be available soon! here.
ACTA Submission to AMEP Evaluation
ACTA has submitted a thorough submission to The Evaluation of the AMEP “new business model”. The submission highlights that the primary goal of AMEP is to assist adult migrants in learning English. The submission outlines a range of issues identified in aliginging the AMEP with the SEE program and makes a range of recommendations to be implemented.
