WATESOL Meet & Share: Technology in EAL/D Classrooms
This year WATESOL is introducing quarterly Meet & Share sessions. These networking sessions are based loosely on an international movement (Teach Meet) and follow a formula in which educators gather together to focus on a particular topic. From that group, several will give short (7 minute) presentations on the topic, with time for refreshments and networking in between.
The sessions aim to provide a positive, collegial environment in which people can share and learn from each other. We acknowledge that there is a wealth of expertise amongst our membership and hope to tap into that, providing sessions that are suitable for members from all sectors.
We are seeking presenters for our first Meet & Share session and encourage members to submit a brief (no more than 100 word) summary of a proposed topic at this link with a focus on the use of technology in EAL/D classrooms by Friday March 24.
Presenters will have access to a projector if required.
