DESCRIPTION:This session will enable participants to support primary and se
 condary EAL/D students who may have Autism\, ADHD\, Global Development Del
 ay and those who have difficulties paying attention\, staying focused on t
 asks and need that motivation with their learning.\n\nAn overview of evide
 nce-based research into sensory motor\, behavioural and social development
  theories will be discussed as well as exploring effective strategies to s
 upport emotional regulation\, social relationships\, focus\, attention\, p
 roblem solving\, learning and motor activities. Hands on activities and st
 rategies will be provided to enable teachers and education assistants to t
 ransfer knowledge\, skill and strategies back into the classroom.\n
