This EAL/D session will provide teachers and education assistants with information on how to support students using up to date computer knowledge. This is a PD you won’t want to miss! Go away and use these skills in your class straight away. This workshop is designed for absolute beginners to more experienced users.

This session will look at online tools like Pinterest, Google Docs, Prezi, Diigo, YouTube and Popplet which will engage your students. Access to an extensive range of ESL websites for teachers and students will also be made available at this workshop. Participants will be able to access computers at Highgate Primary School or BYO Laptop.

Helene Markmann is a Level 3 Classroom Teacher, has been a teacher trainer, a lecturer in Technologies to Engage Learners at Curtain University and is currently a sessional tutor in the School of Education at Edith Cowan University and lecturer in ESL at Central TAFE.
