DESCRIPTION:This EAL/D session will provide teachers and education assistan
 ts with information on how to support students using up to date computer k
 nowledge. This is a PD you won’t want to miss! Go away and use these ski
 lls in your class straight away. This workshop is designed for absolute be
 ginners to more experienced users.\n\nThis session will look at online too
 ls like Pinterest\, Google Docs\, Prezi\, Diigo\, YouTube and Popplet whic
 h will engage your students. Access to an extensive range of ESL websites 
 for teachers and students will also be made available at this workshop. Pa
 rticipants will be able to access computers at Highgate Primary School or 
 BYO Laptop.\n\nHelene Markmann is a Level 3 Classroom Teacher\, has been a
  teacher trainer\, a lecturer in Technologies to Engage Learners at Curtai
 n University and is currently a sessional tutor in the School of Education
  at Edith Cowan University and lecturer in ESL at Central TAFE.\n\n
