WATESOL is excited to announce the first Meet & Share event for 2025. The topic will be Teaching Vocabulary, and it will take place on the 7th of May at Cyril Jackson Senior Campus Library.
Meet and Share networking sessions are based loosely on an international movement (Teach Meet) and follow a formula in which educators gather together to focus on a particular topic. From that group, several will give short (7 minute) presentations on the topic, with time for refreshments and networking in between.
We are calling for presenters to submit a short bio using this link by April 11th.
This will be a free event for members, with refreshments provided. Join us for an enriching session filled with valuable insights and networking opportunities.
Meet and Share sessions aim to provide a positive, collegial environment in which people can share and learn from each other. We acknowledge that there is a wealth of expertise amongst our membership and hope to tap into that, providing sessions that are suitable for members from all sectors.
Presenters will have access to a projector if required.
