The Positive Power of Peers: The YEP Project – Anania Tagaro

The Youth Educating Peers (YEP) Project is a youth-led initiative that aims to educate, empower and positively evolve young people’s perceptions, attitudes and behaviours around sexual health and blood born virus (SHBBV) issues, and other risk-taking behaviours. YEP is currently developing a training specifically focused on developing the skills and capacity of the youth, community and education sectors to respond to the SHBBV needs of young people from CaLD backgrounds.

Anania is the Senior Project Officer at the Youth Affairs Council of WA (YACWA) coordinating the YEP Project, funded by the WA Department of Health.
