AWARDS
Education Awards
WATESOL sponsors education awards for the students who achieve the best results in TESOL units at Curtin University and Edith Cowan University.
Winners receive two years of membership to the association and books to the value of $100.
Kate Mullin Educator Award
WATESOL also supports the Kate Mullin Educator Award by assisting with assessing applications and hosting the presentation of the award at our annual general meeting.
Kate, who passed away suddenly in 2008, dedicated time to WATESOL, holding the president role for many years. She was a passionate educator who worked to improve literacy for Indigenous students, especially those in remote areas.
