As we are encouraging keen tertiary students to attend the event, it saves us a massive legal headache by not serving alcohol
Why is this a paid event?
While the event itself is not being run to generate a profit, we are aiming to make this a very high quality event and provide an exception event experience to both our attendees and our speakers. This includes all standard event planning expenses, including catering, videography, photography, and further additional costs. With Sciosity being a startup, these are not costs that we can afford to forego. Rest asssured though, we are not charging a single dollar more than is necessary.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, we will have your name recorded. If you purchased a student ticket you MUST bring your student ID.
We can’t wait to see you there!
